Article from WABI TV-5

Maple Crest Farm in Hermon, Maine will host a free, open to the public, fund raiser for Cancer Care of Maine and will include a sheep shearing contest organized by Edie Kirshner, a fourth generation sheep shearer.  There may also be an alpaca shearing demonstration, “back to back” demonstration, as well as a black smith demonstration along with various vendors and exhibitors and farm tours.  All proceeds will go to Cancer Care of Maine.  For more information go to maplecrestfarm.me and click on Sheep for a Cure. We will be following all ME CDC guidelines in affect at the time for this outdoor event.
