Sheep shearing, fiber arts focus of upcoming Cancer Care fundraiser

Maple Crest Farm in Hermon, Maine will host a free, open to the public, fund raiser for Cancer Care of Maine and will include a sheep shearing contest organized by Edie Kirshner, a fourth generation sheep shearer. There may also be an alpaca shearing demonstration, “back to back” demonstration, as well as a black smith demonstration along with various vendors and exhibitors and farm tours.
